FULL TIME NIGHT CUSTODIAN - VERNON SCHOOL DISTRICT
Shift is 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and is a benefited position. Job responsibilities to include providing a clean environment for learning, a positive attitude towards the job and school personnel acting in a professional and ethical manner, thoroughly cleaning and maintaining designated work areas, ability to work independently, organize and use time effectively, ability to adapt to changing circumstances in designated work areas, which could include evening community events, after school programs and/or other public interruptions. Knowledge of occupational safety and health regulations, how to care for materials and operate equipment used in the performance of job duties. Ability to perform the physical aspects of the position i.e., stand/walk for long periods of time, lift 50 pounds, work on ladder, bend, set up and take down chairs and tables for school performances, mowing, snow shoveling/blowing, grounds maintenance.
